How to Set Up Windows 8 HomeGroup Sharing with a Windows 7 PC??

Home group feature was firstly introduced by windows 7 operating system. With this feature it is very easily to share files and other documents between other machines on your network. So, here in this blog i describe how to set up Windows 7 to Windows 8.

Steps are define below:

• Firstly you have to change the PC setting of Windows 8 and for that you need to use the shortcut of keyboard, here you need to press the Win Key + I on your windows 8 desktop after that click on change PC setting.
• Now click on HomeGroup from the Control Panel settings. Then you need to switch on the types of files and devices you want to share in the left  panel under Libraries and Devices.
• In Membership a password is automatically generated and you need this to connect your Windows 7 and Windows 8 system to it.
• Now to join Windows 7 to Windows 8 homegroup you need to type homegroup in the search box of your windows 7 system and press enter.
• After that you need to click on join now option shown on your screen.
• Then select the files and folders you like to share on the Windows 8 HomeGroup and click Next.
• Now you have to enter in the password and then click Next.
• Now after clicking on finish you are successfully connected to the Windows 8 Homegroup and now you are able to share files and folders between Windows 7 and Windows 8 homegroup.
