Computer not responding- causes and solution

With time, computer speed gradually degrades and gets depleted, and its normal and most of the times either computer is on but not responding and even some programs and applications turned out to be irresponsive. So let me interpret you here that computer is a machine and like wise any other machines, maintenance of computer should be done on regular basis and this can be done with the help of computer maintenance tools.
The reason for computer being turned irresponsible may be many, so here I would discus some basic causes and reason for the computer not responding or application freezing which are as below.
Software related issue: software problems may occur because of the software being outdated and is needed to be updated on regular basis. One can simply update the software from the publisher of the software.
Driver related issue: driver is an interface between operating system and hardware and it helps the OS is acknowledgement of hardware functioning and it’s working. And even the drivers may get outdated so one need to update the driver’s for the hard ware on regular basis as well.
Operating system related issue: for the operating system also, the latest updates are available so to avoid the computer from being not responding, and one should always updates the operating system.
Over heating: some time while using your computer, you might hear the loud noise coming out of your computer. So here you can open up your computer and check your computer fans are up to the mark and also do the cleaning of your fans as because of long term usages, it might have got some dirt with in it.
Hardware issue: some time hard ware is also the root cause of the computer freezing or not      responding. For example recently if you connected some hardware on your computer than simply remove it temporarily to check whether, that particular hardware is responsible for the computer locks up.
Serious issue with Windows: even after going thorough all this steps, even then if your computer is locking up. It means your computer has seriously encountered the problems of some important files of operating system being getting corrupted. So here you can install your operating system CD on you disc drive and run the repair option, and all the corrupted files would be restored. Nut I would recommend you all to create the back up of all your files before you do repairing of your computer.
Hardware failure: even after doing the repair and re-installation of your operating system, still if you face these problems, than it may be caused of your hardware issues like your CPU, Mother board, RAM(random access memory) and power supply. If you have extra available parts or have a friend or co-worker with a similar configuration that is willing to allow you to test their hardware in your computer, try swapping these parts to determine if they are at fault. Otherwise, you will need to have the computer serviced.
